# Ductless Mini-Splits

Ductless mini-splits heat and cool a home without ductwork. An outdoor unit connects to one or more indoor units, so each space can be set on its own. They work well in additions, finished attics and basements, older homes with no ducts, and rooms that never seem to match the rest of the house. We handle ductless mini-split installation, repair, tune-ups and replacement. Installation starts with a look at the rooms you want to heat and cool, so we can recommend the right number and placement of indoor units. If a unit stops cooling or heating, leaks or shows an error code, we diagnose it and explain the fix before we start. Mini-split filters and coils need regular cleaning to keep airflow strong, so a yearly tune-up is worth scheduling. We offer same-day service when possible, flat-rate pricing on most residential repairs and financing options for new systems. ## Common questions

Do mini-splits need ductwork?

No. An outdoor unit connects to indoor units through a small line set, so no ducts are needed. That makes them a good fit for additions and older homes.

Can a mini-split heat as well as cool?

Most mini-splits heat and cool. We'll go over the options for your rooms and your existing heating before you decide.

How often does a mini-split need service?
